1. About these terms
These terms apply to your use of Orbis Mail, provided by Orbis Digital Ltd (Company No. 17116737), 66 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NA. Your organisation's order or agreement with us may include additional terms, which take priority if they conflict with these.
2. The service
Orbis Mail is a web-based email client. It connects to email accounts you already hold with third-party providers using IMAP and SMTP. We are not your email provider and are not responsible for the availability, storage or delivery of email by your provider.
3. Accounts
- Your organisation's administrator controls who has access and with which role.
- Keep your sign-in details secure and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
- You must only connect mailboxes you are authorised to use.
4. Acceptable use
You must not use Orbis Mail to:
- send spam, unsolicited bulk email or phishing messages;
- break the law or infringe anyone's rights;
- attempt to access accounts or data you are not authorised to access;
- interfere with or overload the service, or try to bypass its security.
We may suspend access that breaches these rules, and will tell your organisation when we do.
5. Your data
Your organisation owns the data it puts into Orbis Mail. We process it to provide the service as described in our privacy policy. You are responsible for keeping your own backups of important email, which your email provider normally holds.
6. Fees
Fees are set out in your organisation's agreement. Unless agreed otherwise, paid plans are billed monthly in advance and exclude VAT.
7. Availability and changes
We aim to keep Orbis Mail available at all times, but it may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance or reasons beyond our control. We may improve and change features; we will give reasonable notice of changes that significantly reduce what the service does.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss caused by your email provider, and our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the fees paid for Orbis Mail in that period.
9. Ending the service
Your organisation may stop using Orbis Mail in line with its agreement. When it does, we delete workspace data as described in our privacy policy. Your email remains with your email provider.
10. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
